ABOUT

Hello. This is me. :) I love to read, write, run (most of the time) and play lawn games. I’m the nicest competitive person you know. And I make (and can eat) a mean queso.

me

I’ve started (and abandoned) six or seven blogs in the last … six or seven years. I always set out to write something big and important and lofty, and then I get wrapped up in the details and expectations. Freeze: terrified!

So, I started this blog in April 2012 with the idea that I’d focus on something more casual: running. After years of being a jogger, I wanted to meet new fitness goals and run another half marathon (maybe even a full). I accomplished the half and signed up for the full, but never ran it.

Life took a left turn, and I moved from Portland, Oregon to Barcelona, Spain (for a to-be-determined amount of time). I still write about running, but now I also focus on travel tips, adjusting to life in a new country, learning a new language & more.

And when I’m not running or fumbling the Spanish language? You’ll find me looking for a laugh, drinking wine, writing a letter, packing a bag or chasing the sun.

Thanks for stopping by. :)

Say hi to me on Twitter – I’d love to hear from you!
